Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TapTidy ("the Service"), operated by Think Tank Systems ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

TapTidy is a task management application that allows you to create, organize, and manage tasks, projects, and related data across web and mobile platforms. The Service includes features such as task synchronization, calendar integration, collaboration, and data export.

3. Account Registration

By creating an account, you agree that:

• You will provide accurate and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You are at least 16 years of age.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission.

5. Your Data and Intellectual Property

Your data belongs to you. You retain all rights to the content you create, upload, or store through the Service, including tasks, projects, notes, and attachments.

You grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not sell your data or use it for advertising.

The Service itself, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Think Tank Systems and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance.
• System updates and improvements.
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from Service interruptions.

7. Account Termination and Deletion

By you: You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate it. After 30 days, all your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted. See our Data Deletion Policy for details.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if your account is used for abusive or illegal activity, or if required by law. We will provide reasonable notice where possible and allow you to export your data before termination, except where prohibited by law.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google Calendar, Todoist, CalDAV providers). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Think Tank Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a prominent notice in the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
